2022–2025 | Cartographies of the invisible.
What does a feather look like when you get close enough to see its architecture? Primordia is a series of scanning electron microscope images that reveal the hidden structures of living matter: a feather, a tardigrade, a grain of pollen, a seed.
Beyond the reach of the naked eye, these microstructures unfold as organic topographies. Originally monochrome, the images are digitally colorised by the artist, transforming the scientific document into a cartography of the invisible.
